The Mandalorian took the world by storm with it’s premier on Disney+ in early November 2019, fans all around the world were truly captivated by who they were now referring to as Baby Yoda.
The Mandalorian series decided to take a unique and different spin on the traditional Star Wars storyline, in which we see Din Djarin, a Mandalorian Bounty hunter, looking for his next payment, assigned to retrieve a special ‘target’ for imperial stormtroopers, but to his shock, the Mandalorian discovers, that it is in fact a child that he is to present to the sith followers.
Fearful of what they may do with the child, the Mandalorian takes off, escaping to far-out edges of galaxies to avoid the capture of the child, of which he fears may be lethal. The series continues with the Mandalorian making fair and few allies along the way, introducing characters such as Ashoka, Frog Lady and many others, but also meeting deadly foes and the fearful Moff Gideon, portrayed perfectly by Giancarlo Esposito.
As Season 2 continued fans discovered the name of the young Jedi, who resembled Yoda to be ‘Grogu’ and he is believed to be roughly 50 years old.
Fans await the latest season of The Mandalorian, expected to air in 2022, however are excited to receive ‘ The Book of Boba Fett‘ prior to this.
