Venom Black Malice Figurine. Limited Edition 017942
Venom is the result of a symbiote bonding with Eddie Brock, local reporter of Atlanta, New York. Whilst we’ve seen few appearances of Venom throughout cinema history, who could forget the famous debut appearance in Spiderman-3, in which Eddie Brock (Topher Grace) is pitted against Peter Parker (Toby Maguire) and venom is introduced, unfortunately for some cinema fans this means we were faced with an iconic ‘venom dance’ and now an iconic meme.
However, since Raimi’s trilogy, we have been reintroduced to Venom, in the form of Tom Hardy’s rough and almost ‘sick’ looking adaptation of Eddie Brock. In this first solo introductory film to Venom, we witness a down on his luck, Eddie Brock attempt to gain a ‘hot story’ of one of the leading science corporations exploiting sick and homeless people for human trails on something dark and sinister, however in a turn of events, it’s Eddie that finds himself the latest subject of science mutation, as he’s paired with Venom, the lethal symbiote with a desire for destruction.
Throughout the film, we see some of Venoms many abilities such as shapeshifting, increased strength and health regeneration, but also his willingness to leave innocents alone, and feed off the guilty and evil.
