A young Jakku scavenger with an indeterminate past, Rey’s chance encounter with an astromech droid sets off a series of events that will pit her against some of the most powerful forces in the galaxy.
In seeking out Jedi Master Skywalker, and under his apprehensive tutelage, Rey begins to discover her nascent abilities and dexterity with a lightsaber and to grasp her enormous potential.
Along the way we watch Rey develop her skills, and reach new highs and she tackles the sinister Kylo Ren. For fans of the film, they reported mixed reviews of the tension, relationship and emotions between both Rey and Ben, although ultimately in the end we witnessed a friendship and connection between the two characters, as Ben regrets his decisions, and fears he may not be forgiven for his actions.
